I've had several candidates show up in my office; but it's typically because they're too afraid to call. I guess rejection works better in person? *eye-roll* And it's always the people you can't place - like just showing up at your office will make all the difference and overcome their 4-page, administrative job resume with 13-jobs in the last 2 years.
